St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School encourages the use of strategies from the Virtues Project a holistic approach to character education that supports the development of the whole person. The Virtues Project is a global grassroots initiative that inspires the practice of virtues in everyday life and helps bring out the best in every child and every person.
The Virtues Project views a parent’s or guardian’s first and most important role as that of a mentor to a child’s inherent virtues. At St. Mary’s, educators support children as they grow through life’s many challenges, helping them turn life’s tests into victories and guiding them to live with integrity, compassion, and respect.

“The best way to educate our children in the Faith is to model prayer and virtue for them.”
