To love and serve
St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, North Rockhampton
St Mary’s School is situated in Berserker, a northern suburb of Rockhampton. St Mary’s is a co-educational school with two classes in each year level from Prep to Year 6, as well as an Outside School Hours Care facility. Operated by the Diocese of Rockhampton and administered by the Catholic Education Office, St Mary’s was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1900.
Our school motto, ‘Love and Serve’, is lived through the promotion of excellent teaching and learning, close community ties, and the ongoing development of a culture of faith, service and commitment to Catholic ideals and principles.
St Mary’s is a Catholic School where everything we do reflects the Gospel Values, which we, as staff and parents, need to model for the young people within our community. This challenges our community to be a people of practical faith each and every day.
